Any chance of Jim Cash riding to the rescue?
Jim, you probably know what this correction factor does, but any chance you know (or can find out) what it's supposed to be on a 2000 528iA?

Sorry, I have made it a personal policy of not posting info about accessing all the test and diagnostic data in the instrument clusters.

Reasons:

- It changes from model to model, and year to year, and I may not be totally accurate.

- it is possible to re-set/calibrate some of your settings (even accidentially) and if you do not "really know" what you are doing with them then I dont' want to encourage people to get in there. It is "possible" to reset all your software memory to defaults.

- I have received some technical info from BMW in the past on the agreement that I do not pass it on. I do not wish to appear to abuse that agreement.

Cheers
Jim Cash

All valid points, Jim. I respect your position, and much appreciate all the help you DO give.
