the idea of yearly service on a rolex is complete BS-the dealer pressure tests the watch,brushes the dirt out of the bracelet and charges the poor sucker $200 for nothing-rolex should be serviced-every 4 years-factory aprox $4-500-non factory about$ 250-300--with proper service it will last indefinitely and still retain much of retail value-i am selling 20 year old rolexs for 1500-2000 depending on condition-if bmw made a watch it would certainly be a higrade german or swiss automatic-rolex/omega/iwc/jlc/briget/blancpain/patek
