Dinan software does not void warranty on engine components. Dealers who sell Dinan parts will not think twice about servicing a Dinanized car, with full warranty coverage. Allison BMW challenged me along these lines, and I had Jeff Hecox (dinan) talk to that moron David Plata (Bad service advisor) about it. The idiot wanted ME to pay for an engine map update.
My advice is to have Dinan's number handy when going in for service, and to call them before hand if you're getting warranty work done.

Ironic - It was Performance in chapel hill that told me about the upgrades as well. The guy even told me one could have them installed on the car by them before driving off the lot.

I have not asked Leith in Raleigh, which is where I got my car.
