Keyless Entry tone? Can you change it? (archive)

I have a 98 528i and the keyless entry has the loud whoop, whoop tone when you set the lock or unlock. The newer models have a more discrette bing, bing type. Does anyone know if it is possible to change over to the more acceptable tone?
