Dealer agreed to replace/repair (more) (archive)

Took the car into the dealership last week and spoke to a service advisor about a few things (98 540i 6spd).
1. Front rims starting to look gray (clear coat gone) dealer will take the wheels into a wheel shop and strip the original coat replacing with new))
2. Driver seat shifting (dealer will lube bushings and replace the sliding jaws)
3. Phone cord slips when picking up the telephone to talk (dealer will replace phone cord)
4. Door seals making sounds when the car shifts (Dealer will replace door and window seals)

My car has 46K miles so the warranty is coming up soon. Just got may act together to get all the things taken care of. I was very pleased with the conversation and responses from the dealership. The dealer is Santa Clara BMW (CA), used to take the car to Allison that place is an emberrasment to BMW name. Hope this long post will help some of you with similar problems.
