Be careful of Invoice packaging (archive)

$1,800 over invoice is VERY good. Just be careful that it is packaged properly. I had some folks try to add $1,000 moonroof into "Invoice" but was already included in premium package. Easy $1K profit.

In fact, the 530 is actually $500 CHEAPER than the previous 528 (option for option).The $1,000 moonroof is now included in premium and premium sport packages at no additional charge. The base MSRP is up $500 so the actual cost of the 530 is $500 cheaper than 528. Unusual Huh?


I was offered $1800 over invoice for the '01 530i. Do you think it is a good price? Last year I was offered $1500 over invoice but decided to wait for the '01 model.
