Where is everyone's Nav. Antenna??? (archive)

If you look at the below picture carefully, on my 540i roof (center) there is an Antenna. The tiny antenna was actually installed by BMW dealer when they installed my navigation. After I carefully check every member's 540i with nav. system, seems like there is no 540i with nav. system have that antenna. Am I just blind or this antenna was installed for something else? (I am sure it was installed with the navigation system).
