I did, briefly, but I really couldn't tell because it was such a short drive. I drove a manual, and I did notice that the rpms quickly dropped when necessary to upshift. I think that that was a problem on early 2.8s.


Test drive a 01' 330. I believe it is the same engine.


Aside from the power differences, has any gotten any feedback on this engine compared to the 2.8? Would be intereted to know about smoothness, drivability (with a manual), sound, etc.
