Now that you've had a weekend to play with your new 540i on home turf does it still please you as much as in Germany. Have you noticed how slow the traffic has become? Any glitches or harm from the shipping?

Oh, if anything, it's even more fun here at home where I have the comparison of knowing what every other car I've driven has been like on these same roads.

I can't drive the 540i here the way I did in Europe and but in a way, that in itself is impressive. There, I was almost never below about 3500 rpm. Here, I pull away from everything else on the road at 2500 rpm. It's like, oh, you ain't seen nuthin' yet! :)
