if you mash it, it clicks off nice shifts all at around 6400...it's definitely 'peakier' than the 540's V8. Als has a neat, somewhat raspy exhaust note. One of these days I'll put my G-Tech on it & see what it does in the quarter but trust me, its a lot faster than the 'ol Expedition my better half was driving before -and gets 6 more mpg.
