i have just stated my honest opinion about Dinan products. Some of his stuff is nice, but I feel that it is overpriced and underperforming. I would be willing to bet that the same numbers can be reached for far less money by using other products. Yes, Dinan was one of the first in the country to start modding BMW, yes, a lot of his products are good, but why is everyone so enthralled by his stuff? Granted, the muffler on Jimmy's car looks good, but what is with the sloppy welds? Yes, they offer chips up through the 2000 model, but why does Autothority get better results? I just feel that better can be had for less $$$$$$$.
Be careful about the rice burner comments, you may get smoked by one one day, and I have seen daily driver "rice burners" that get better numbers on the track than Jimmys car, without the aid of NO2 or a turbo.
My personal experience with Dinan has lead me to look for alternatives, and that has opened my eyes to different products. If I wanted a rear, I may consider buying a Dinan product again, but for engine management and other bolt-on products, I will go elsewhere.
If Dinan rules, why are there other companies out there that are thriving and growing?
the CAI and 4 for the muffler or roughly 305-306 hp, torque maybe 320 lbs-ft.
Rice Burner "Supreme" numbers. 338 hp at 5800 and 367 lb/ft at 4000 (Dinan Stage XXX sofware, CAI, Dinan 3.15 rear axle and end muffler). Take these numbers and shove them up yours. JIMMY's DINAN car (mind you it is an automatic) is as fast as M5 - 1/4 standing at 13.6 with the trap speed of 108.
Get it ? Dinan rules !
