Nice pic, but then at last week's Paris Auto Show, the MB was replaced...Take a look at the new daddy---Porsche Carrera GT. Better look, better stats, better pricing. MB goes back to the drawing board....

This is a little late, but I have been running around the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains for a few days. Great roads.

The night before the race, this car was in my driveway after being picked up by my buddy for the Mercedes display at the Hall of Fame Museum. When he finally arrived all he said was 'All this for a damn production car!' Being a tow truck driver, I guess he has a different perspective on automobiles than I do.

The Product Engineer for the car was very nice, and let us look at the car up close. He did give me some crap about my 5er and having to add oil, however I repaid him by asking if the Mercedes was built on the same platform as the PT cruiser. It is a beautiful car (the Mercedes) and my 15 minutes of whatever at the Hall of Fame was also very nice. Take a look if you like.

Oh Yes, the race was wonderful. If you love cars, which it seems all of you do, I highly recommend going next year.
