But this particular Camaro (1999 SS convertible) is quite expensive ($35K+ retail?). Even so, it's still V-8 vs. V-8, 6-speed vs. 6-speed. I just thought that a car specifically designed as a muscle car (notice I didn't say sports car) would be able to really make me smile (especially considering my muscle car upbringing) - but it didn't.

I think that I am now just too jaded to look upon any car and not see through BMW glasses.

That is what I am afraid of too. My 530IA is supposed to be in this week, and being that I have never owned a BMW, from all the feedback I have gotten on the BMWs, other cars will disappoint by comparison...
