My last car was a Vette and the 540 does match a lot of my performance needs while being a fairly comfortable car. I really love the way the 540 drives. However, the 540 has way too much minor problems and IMHO, it's less relaible than a Vette. I think the new M3 would be a great fun car. but if my 540 doesn't get her act together soon, she won't be getting any baby bimmer sister to joint her! May be another Vette or Boxster S.
