AK, I think your check engine lights are contagious. Mine just light up for the first time. 97 540ia, 51,700. Car seems fine. Is it ok to drive to dealer and what if it takes a few days to get an appointment. What does it usually mean?

Sorry to hear that, Eric. Dead O2 sensors or loose gas caps seem to be the culprits. Give it about 4 days of driving normally to see if it goes out on its own. If it does, cool. If it's still on, time to go to the dealer.

Andrew
