Due to the glowing reveiws by those that came before me, I went ahead an removed the clutch delay valve this evening. Well, I should say I tried to remove it, but could not for the life of me get the clutch line threaded back into the cylinder w/o the valve, so I just drilled the valve out to remove the restriction. Maybe I'll go back and try to put the line in w/o the valve, but I guess there is not much point now. Anyway, ever since I got the car, I had a hard time driving it smoothly, but I figured it was just me and that I would just have to learn the car, but now the clutch is quite predittable and engages right where one would expect.I makes perfect sense now why the clutch seemed to engage at the top of the pedal: the peday was at the top, but the slave cylinder was at the middle effectively, dur to the delay. I highly encourage those that have not done this to do so immediately. Also, does anyone that has pulled thiers have a CDV that is sitting around as a paperweight they could send me just in case?
