i posted here a couple days ago stating S-02s are the way to go, and i will say it again. main gripe though, is price. i thought long and hard when i moved from my perrenial favorite (at that time) 2-years ago, Dunlop SP8000s. the SP8000s offered great all around performance for a fair price. when the SP9000s came out, i was expecting the same, but got mixed feedback from various sources. what finally made me change to the S-02 was availability of sizes for my '87 E30 320i with 2.7 liter motor with 16" RD rims.

on my second set now, i have to admit that in the tropics where i live and get to put the S-02 wet and dry performance to the test frequently, there is no better tire i have used. believe me, i am picky with my wheels and have thrown out tires with less than 50% wear due to poor performance, noise, or other mundane reasons.

and in case, you are wondering, no, i do not get paid for giving bridgestone such a good recommendation.
