Yes, the problems with the V8 were real, and the only other choices in the E34 6-cylinder in the US were the 525 and the 535.


How do I find out what car is what "E" series? Is there a list somewhere, or could someone tell me what the 528 and 540 are for the years '94 - '97. I really have a hard time understanding some of the comments I see on line. Thanks!!
Also, if the problems with the '95 540 engine was real, is it good enough to have the 100k warranty if I can get it?
