Driving with Tow Hook installed? (archive)

Saw a strange sight today in Newport Beach, CA. An artic silver debadged (528) with painted side moldings, nice wheels and tires and M5 bumper with the front tow hook installed. As if he just left the race track or something. What's up with that? Is that the latest fashion statement, driving with the tow hook? Needless to say, this very fast looking 528 didn't want to have anything to do with my more subtle looking 540. Oh well, not nice to mess with our smaller endowed bretheren.
