This year BMW is offering an enhanced bass package on the 2001 M5 for $1200 (description below). Anyone know if it is any good? Can it be retrofitted to a 5 series with DSP?

- An alternate sound system, is offered for the MY2001, M audio system with enhanced bass. When ordered, this system incorporate the M5 DSP system but the front door midrange speakers are upgraded to coaxial (2 way) speakers, and existing subwoofers are replaced with 2 10" free air subwoofers (no enclosure) for a substantial increase in bass performance. Both front door midrange speakers and the 10" subwoofers utilize Kevlar cone material for better power handling.
