I just purchased a Certified 1998 528iA with the Sports package from a local dealer in Atlanta a month ago. It was owned by one person who leased it from the same dealership. They had all of the records and the guy really took care of it. The inside is virtually flawless. IMO, used, especially certified, is the way to go. You let the previous owner incur the bulk of the depreciation expense in the first two years. I have been very happy so far.

Hello, I own an 86 325es and I love it. My Dad is considering either a 3 wagon or 5 sedan. How has the reliability been with your cars so far? How have repair costs been? Our local dealerships around Shaker Hts, Oh are from $75-90. I personally only bring my car to Brett Anderson www.koalamotorsport.com. Also, should we consider certified cars or service loaners. There is a service loaner 5 wagon with 16k for only $36,00. Originally it was around $50K I think. I have a feeling you just cut a lot of depreciation with certified cars. My Dad has never bought a used car though and he is worried that it may have been abused.
thanks for the advice,
