On Sept 6th I was driving along a the Grand Central Pkway, here in NYC, when I recieved a call from my hysterical mother that my grand father had just passed away. So I did what I'm sure anyone of us would have done, I stepped on it..went around a couple of slow drivers and slowed down when I noticed a Highway Patrol Cop practically in my back seat! I pull over and tried to expalin what was going on, he says to me "I don't care who died" I'm still writing you up!! then I showed him my PBA Badge and asked him for a courtesy, he then tells me "I could care less who you know in the NYPD, I'm still writing you, and you're lucky I dont arrest you" sick part about it is that the badge I showed him is from a well respected detective in the NYPD in Manhattan!!.. What a prick huh!! He writes me up for 79 on a 55 (like who does 55 on the GCP!! anyway I told him "I'll see him in court" and drove off... My detective friend was absolutely irrate!! He asked me when my date was so that he can give the cop an earfull!!

It's going to be fun..!!!!
