I also have it. I had it installed on my 530 last week. It seems to work fine, but as Greg atated, it takes up pretty much all of the glove box. (I keep my manual booklet in the trunk just on top of the spare tire. Fits well there.) I did not have the expensive installation problems, however. They quoted me $675 for the whole thing, install and all, and that's what it was. I noticed that they did have to put a strip of foam on the bottom of the fuse box to keep the top of the unit from rattling against it, I guess. It makes the glove box fit very tight when you close it. I wonder about the long-term effects of this, though. Did they do this on yours as well, Greg?

is anyone here using bmw nakamichi 6 cd changer?? is it better than alpine cd changer in trunk? easy to use?? how much it usually?
