I am considering buying either a 5 series or a 3 series and I am wondering if anyone could tell me which one would be best. I am looking to seat 4 adults in good comfort and luxury and I need to know which is better. I went to drive a 330 and the front seat had to be scooted way up so that my knees were against the dashboard until there was enough room for someone in the back. and I'm only 5'7. the 5 series did not have this problem. this confuses me because on bmwusa.com they list the 3 as having more room in the back seat than the 5, but this is not what I observed please help. could someone also list the advantages of a 6 speed 540 over the 330i? thanks
