Before I ordered my 530 with sport suspension I test drove a 528 with reg suspension and immediately after a 528 with sport suspension. The ride with the sport suspension is much more precise and connected to the road feel. The regular suspension felt like driving a Buick.
I don't find the sport suspension harsh at all.
It really depends on your preference of ride feel.
