I have had GM cars, Fords & chryslers sedans none of which have any knid of handling capability(IMO). During my shopping this past summer I did test drive a Cadillac STS & a Cad Catera. These cars are nice in a straight line on an interstate but try pushing them on a winding road and you will be lucky to saty on he road. I also drove a "buick" front driver in a performance driving school along with corvettes, cameros etc so we could see the diference in how different cars handle. My latest favorite car before the 530 (my first BMW) is a Nissan 240sx which handles amazingly well . The 530 with sport Susps at least as good as the 240 except for u turns the 240 has a 4 ft less turn circle. If you don't belive me try a Buick (or equivilent) then try a BMW within a couple of hours. If you can't tell the difference don't buy sport suspension
