I think the dealer meant it will no longer take 15" wheels like the 528 because of the increase rotor diam. The 530 prem pkg comes with 16" wheels

The base 530i (without the premium, sport and sport/premium packages) come with the same exact 16-inch wheels and tires as the 530i with the premium package.
