I bought the ATT version of the StarTAC phone for the BMW. It is $495 from Circle BMW.

BMWNA responded to my email (Owner Connection at their website) and said the new phone (tri-mode) and versions for various Providers will be available February 2001. Mentioned was AT&T, Verison and Pacbell PCS as well.

I hope and pray, I have been waiting 7 months
