I like the 530i review and their other reviews. It makes more sense to evaluate these cars from an emotional perspective isn't that why we love them ie they make us feel good when we drive them. All the author is saying is that the driving experince of the 530i is excellent but that for th same money a GS400 is more refined and more thrilling. I'm sick of all the ogjective scientific reviews that try to quantify what it feels like to drive a car.
