peace of mind ...Some people may say it is a waste of money to change oil more frequently than the computer tells you...but it certainly doesn't HURT the car...I use to have a 94 Integra GSR with 145,000 miles that I drove the hell out of (had track time)...Changed oil every 5000 miles (used synthetic), and never had a problem with the motor...in fact, the guy who bought my car checked the compression and said it was still running very good...
