Brakes squealing only in reverse? (archive)

Installed the Repco anti-brake dust pads about two months ago, but in cold weather they always squeak when backing up. Anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this? I've already applied the sticky anti-squeal stuff, which fixed the squealing when going forward.

I'm thinking maybe I should find an empty parking lot and drive around in reverse to "bed" the brakes, perhaps? Any suggestions appreciated
