...that's interesting. Keep in mind my 528 is a 2000 with only 10,000 miles on it now. I could not imagine why BMW would not use to "appropriate" fluild. As well, the tranny is supposively permanently sealed, and no fluid changes are said to be necessary.

I will ask my Service Advisor about this.
