Everything you have said about the GS430 is correct. I know, I bought one...must have been a full moon! Anyway, I'm selling it (5,000) miles. The car is fast and smooth, but not nearly as fun as my old M3. If you know anyone living in CA who might want to trade a 540 or 740 for my 2001 GS430, give them my email address!
Don't get me wrong, the GS is a nice car, but it reminds me of a caddy I used to have.
