Had both problems with non sport. Dealer finally fixed the shifting problem after 3x and BMWNA involved. The squeaking is easy to fix. Massage plenty of lexol or other leather conditioner between the edge of the seat where is meets the plastic support. If this doesn't work, use a small amount of tefton gel lubricant. I swore I had a bad spring in the side bolster, but sure enough, it was leather on plastic squeaking.

Has anyone had either of these problems with their sport seats (my 530i is only 3 weeks old with 200 miles):

1. The driver seat moves/shifts during turns
2. The thigh support squeaks when depressed and released (like when I change from accelerator to brake)

My service advisor is stumped and has contacted "BMW Technical" - whoever they are!
