The rear deck has two 4" holes already in it. The adapters that the M5 uses to mount the speakers securely seems to ADAPT the woofer to these 4" holes. This means NO DRILLINGS or CUTTING!!

I'd give it a try. The 4" holes you are referring to are blanked off in my car (just double checked). If that is the only cutting I have to do, great. When I 'tap' on the blank, it doesn't sound like it is metal - maybe it is a knockout of some type. Anyway....if you can locate the part number, that would be great. Thanks.
