Original BMW accessories. Dealer installed it parts cost around $1300, parts+labor+tax=about $2K.
I have seen it on E-bay for less than $800 just few weeks ago.

Uses Navtech CD-ROM, do I like it...umm.....it's ok, not an excellent system but helped me get to where I am going. (pretty much same as the factory installed Nav. system)
You can consider go with Alpine, Kenwood...etc.,
