circuit city sells polk audio and mtx etc. and get good warranties, ive been pleased. just try a few of em to find the best installer. some c. citys got some smart guys working there and some got some really dumb ones. the installer makes a big difference.
so i got 2 fact. tweeters in front
2 polk tweeters and 2 polk mids.
the factory mid/ tweet in back
and the 10 " sub + AMP in a bandpass box in the trunk.

I have a '99 540ia with the standard sound system. I agree with the comments on the board - it's not too good (that is being kind). The first improvement I would like to make is to add some bass. The standard system is lacking in the 'woofer' department. I have talked to a couple of shops, and they claim that the 5 series trunks are so tight, a sub will have a hard time getting sound into the cabin. I do not have fold down seats, nor ski sack. I would rather not cut into anything. Any suggestions? Also, a reputable installation company in the S Jersey area would be appreciated.
