BMW offeres a factory Retrofit kit for cars manufactured after 10/98 to give them:
On-Board Monitor
Navigation
TV with Text.

You must have the Onboard Computer for this retrofit to work. (Alpah Numeric display in dash cluster)

The part number is: 65 90 0 007 835

My guess is you won't find it in the US, but if you search the web, you may find a dealer in Europe that is willing to sell it to you and ship it over the big pond.
