Those reports say that if the recommended octane for your car is 87 then using 91 has no benefit. The reports don't say that if 91 is recommended that you can use 87 without some loss.


only if I'm actually getting something from it. Many recent reports have said that cars in general do not benefit from higher octane gas. If my car is not of that general group, I'll do what is best and buy the liquid gold.
