2001 M5 can come with the standard DSP Premium Sound System, or for additional $$$ you can have them add the M5 Enhanced Bass option in place of the bandpath box normally found on the DSP system.
The 2001 M5 at the LA Auto Show only has a Nokia Bandpath box (all DSP equipped E39s have). It did not have the M5 Enhanced Bass (two 10" woofers) hanging freeair

Brian, why do you suppose that is, having no enhanced M5 bass option kit istalled on the show car. you'd think they would want that car to be loaded to the gills for all potential buyers to view. Whats up with that?
