I just installed the UUC shortshift on my 2001 530i. Shifts way better now to the point that I'm doubting whether to remove the CDV. BTW, the CDV is located the same place it was on the 540's but according to David Z its a diff part number.

In any case, if you want to try out my car with the short shift, you're more than welcome to it.

Anybody want to set up another LA/OC meet?
