I am in the market for a relatively cheap 525i sedan. My problem is, I want the auto climate control for the car, but it is only offered through the expensive convenience package. My question is, is there any way to change the manual unit with the automatic a/c through the parts department or through the factory? Are there any mid year changes for the 5-series? Thanks in advance.

I much prefer the manual climate control in my M roadster to the automatic in my 540.
