This thing never work when I want it and it works when I don't want it to work!!!!!! Did anyone knows how to BYPASS the system and make it operational everytime I trigger the Intensive cleaning system.

Thanks

I don't think you want to tie it to the I/C operation. If you want to run the headlight cleaner you may not want to be using your I/C fluid (small tank).

The operation of the headlight washers (every 5th use of the washers) is controlled by software in the general module. It sends a ground on the Blue Black lead to pin 9 of the headlight washeer module to activate it.

I installed a pushbutton to do the same. Mine just shorts the 2 leads on the Headlight washer module (Blue Black pin 9, and brown (ground) on pin 8.

Then when I hit the pushbutton it activates the waher pump. The module is a small plastic unit just above the general module - behind the glove box. The general module is the large one at the bottom.
Need to look for the module that has the leads mounted as described above.

These are not easy to work on - really meed to remove the glove box to get easy access.

For a switch I got an extra "ASC" swith and mounted it on the right side of the switch panel - now referred to as the "Aux Squirt Control".

Now I can operate the headlight washers any time I wish - but they still work with the car as designed.

Cheers
