where is the CDV on a 528 i?
Corection, just take out the CDV, drill it our and then put it back in.

If you want to improve the shifting, take out the Clutch Delay Valve. Also get a UUC EVO shifter.

Also, put in some new speakers, an amp and a subwoofer and you will never want another car.

Enjoy.

Picked up my baby Saturday morning and managed to put 650 miles on it by Sunday night. As you may have expected, I am blown away. Anyway, I thought I might share a few first impressions:

1. This car is amazingly powerful. I love the urgency with which the car responds from 50-70. Downshifting is completely optional.

2. Drives as if it were carved from a single billet of steel. It seems to know what I'm trying to do before I do - and it reacts as a natural extension of me.

3. If driven quickly from a standing start, it is difficult to shift smoothly. I freely admit that I've only been driving it for two days and that the fault probably is with my shifting technique, but I can't seem to make that 1st to 2nd shift at 3500 rpm without making everyone's head bob.

4. I should have bought this car much sooner.

I'll post pictures just as soon as we have a sunny day in Houston.
