I tried using Meguiar's overspray clay along with their Final Inspection. I can't help but think that I created a lot of fine scratches, even though I used a light touch and followed their instructions to a tee. On the other hand, the clay seemed to be the only way to get a truly smooth surface -- a cleaner alone was not enough. Any experiences with any of the clay bars out there on the market? I called Meguiar's and the person I spoke with insisted that the clay wouldn't cause swirls.
