I've seen the messages in archives about the fact that a dealer installation of the navigation system results in a different set-up than a factory installation - namely, it's not incorporated into the dash. My question - why? Isn't it possible to order the in-dash navigation system (e.g. what if someone has it and it "breaks" or malfunctions? the dealer must be able to replace it, right?)... Has anyone successfully installed the in-dash "factory-look" navigation system after the fact?
