It was great seeing faces behind the names. I can't remember some of the names but for the canyon drive..

Brad O
Lefty
AK
RJun??
????

Let me just say that I represented the 530/528 camp in the whole sea of 540's. Again, for anybody considering a 530, do not test drive a 540 or you will be turned to the dark side. Enuff said on the subject.

The canyon drive was great. We stopped by a canyon and took some pictures (4 540's and 1 530).

We got to Tustin Brewing Company and had a total of 12 attendees.
MacSanta, Easyman, Jimmy and Peter plus a few other folks whose names I can't remember(sorry, we need name tags next)

After about an hour of discussing BMW's, bimmer.org and cars in general everyone stepped to the parking lot to check out the rides.

In all a great event, maybe another one in the spring.

OK now for the real highlights...after everyone had pretty much cleared out, AK, me, JIMMY, Peter decided to wait for the famous BEEWANG to arrive sans the 540.

While waiting, Mr. Brad O with Lefty, decided to grace us again with their presence in a 99? Ferrari 550. Let me tell you guys, when you peeled out of the parking lot, I could here that exhaust for the next 10 seconds going off in the distance.

AK and I hung out with Bee and his wife, Yoko to talk him out of the M5, but its too late to pursuade him otherwise. We did manage to go to Crevier and fletcher Jones but both were closed.

Anyway, I got home at 9 to a waiting and wondering and slightly pissed wife.

All in all, a great day for all....

Sorry no pics yet but JIMMY and the rest of the guys should have them up soon.

arnolds

ps. Anybody interested in a fully loaded 2001 530i with 2500 miles?
