... selling a high performance tire with 6,000 miles that has an expected lifetime of 12,000 to 24,000 miles (depending on many factors) and has already been punctured and patched is sort of like selling used brake pads. You shouldn't expect to get very much money for it. In fact, it may not be worth the trouble and expense of shipping.
This is the sort of thing that I often post to my Impala SS list as "free XXX, come by and pick it up, first one to write me gets it!" I have some used Bilsteins that I replaced after 10,000 miles because I went with much stiffer springs and they gave me an underdamped ride. I gave away my rear brake rotors with 20,000 miles on them because I installed rear Porsche brakes. And the list goes on and on.
If you really do want to get some money for that tire, you might measure and post the remaining tread depth. As I mentioned above, the expected life of those tires varies tremendously and it would be nice for a potential buyer to know if they were 10 percent worn or 90 percent worn.
Also, you might want to post the state you live in so that you target potential buyers who could drive over and pick it up.
Again, no flame intended. Just trying to set your expectations and possibly save you some time.
