I bit the bullet and bought a helmet right away rather than chancing I'd find a borrowed one that fit.

I did a lot of my browsing at RaceCarSupply.

Otherwise, I learned that lower price = higher weight, fit is MOST important, and among the different helmet styles full-face didn't work for me (too claustrophobic).
