Lojack - is it worth buying?? (archive)

I just ordered a 525i with the sport premium package. I will take delivery of the car at the end of April. The dealer said that the cars with the sport premium package are even more popular with thieves and therefore recommended installing LOJACK. Is it really worth the $650? The dealer said that if I install LOJACK, I am entitled to a 20% discount on my insurance premium, is this true? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
